Barista English
Our Approach to Barista English
This is English designed for real café life. Barista English combines practical language learning with hands-on café skills, helping you build the confidence to communicate with customers, take orders, and work effectively in an English-speaking hospitality environment.
English Classes (Afternoon)
Improve English communication skills specific to the café and hospitality industry. Learn coffee theory — including coffee history, bean types, and brewing methods. Explore café vocabulary and customer interaction through role-play and teamwork.
Practical Experience (Hands-on)
Gain real-world barista experience using commercial espresso machines at the OHC café. Practice making popular drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos. Receive guidance on latte art, beverage presentation, and café workflow.
Career Skills (Professional Focus)
Learn how to create a café-style résumé and prepare for barista job interviews. Understand workplace English used in cafés and hospitality settings. Earn the OHC Barista Certificate upon completion of the program.
