Meet Brisbane
— friendly, balanced, and quietly confident

"It was an amazing experience here in Brisbane. I learnt a lot, especially how to live on your own. I also learnt English at Oxford House College with lovely teachers and nice classes. Brisbane is a small city but is nice because you can go to beautiful beaches and meet wonderful people."

"Brisbane is a lovely place to study, I'm thankful for my teachers and classmates.  Ive been here since February and i've gained a lot of knowledge.  I think my English skills have been improving continually.  Anyway I can honestly say I am happy to be here at Oxford House College."

"I would like to thank everyone at OHC for making this experience so enjoyable and pleasant. What I liked the most was the atmosphere at the school. I have met such great, fun people and many students of different cultures."

"I have made a lot of friends at this school. The lessons are interesting and the teachers are very kind and funny. If I have any questions they always help me. I have had a lot of chances to make friends who come from other countries.

My decision to quit my job and come her was very important for me and I’m happy enjoying my life in Toronto. I wanted to learn English through experience and now I’m here."

‍

"Studying at OHC is like joining one big family. The teachers are amazing and I have learnt a lot here and I am really enjoying my time at OHC. There are many social activities for me to join and to make friends, the teachers and students here are all very friendly."

"My experience in OHC started three weeks ago.

The school is in Stratford upon Avon, a nice town near the river Avon. The school is quite small and in my class there are 4 or 5 of us. The teachers are nice and friendly people who work hard to help us improve our English and there are many chances to practice speaking.

In the school we have a pretty garden, where we can do activities outdoors and there is also a student lounge and a library where we can borrow films and English books to improve our English.

The teachers also plan many social activities, like going out for a coffee or visiting some interesting places near Stratford."

"Studying at OHC is a wonderful experience. I like small size classes; the staff who work here are very friendly. We have comfortable furniture, excellent Internet and the best computers for us. OHC located downtown, is very easy to get to it. We enjoy meeting with new friends and learning new cultures every day.

English is a world language and it’s very necessary in every day life. If you speak fluently and write correctly you can get a better job and can travel around the world!."

"When I first came here it was two years ago and this is now my second time and both were amazing experiences. This time I have brought my girlfriend with me and she is loving it too. The atmosphere in London and especially at the school is really nice, actually I would love to live here.

I also like the social programme and going to the pub and playing football with my new friends and my teachers."

‍

"One thing I like is that there are no Thai students in my class so then I have to make friends with people from lots of countries and practice speaking English.

My teachers are good and they know how to explain things and make the lesson exciting and keep our attention and the lessons are very useful and we learn things we can practice immediately in London like what to say in shops or in restaurants.".

‍

"This experience is the most amazing of my life because I can enjoy each moment in OHC and I can experience another culture. OHC is very important to me because I’m learning a lot of English here and my teacher is very helpful and perceptive.

In our school we have an opportunity to visit different places. One time we went to the Globe and it was very interesting to me because I love to work at a company and I like to see different production lines.

Learning English is very important to my future and to my profession because nowadays in my country it’s necessary to speak another language. Also, I want to travel a lot and this language will help me."

‍

"I had an amazing time here on campus. The location is excellent and extremely convenient. Both my teachers were helpful, kind and skilled.

The event coordinator went out of his way to give all of the students and exceptional experience. I’ve made many friends from all over the world and will never forget my time here."

‍

"Studying at OHC has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From day one, you can really feel the passion the teachers have for teaching English. They don’t just explain grammar or vocabulary clearly; they genuinely make an effort to help us understand and use the language in real-life situations."
