Often students choose to study in Calgary because they are looking for a less crowded, less expensive, study experience. Calgary is a medium-sized, modern city with a distinctly western feel, famous for its Stampede rodeo. The Rocky Mountains are an hour away by car.
OHC English Calgary is a small school located 10 minutes’ walk to the city's shopping and entertainment district and just off the C-Train public transit line. Like Toronto, the atmosphere at OHC is friendly, safe and respectful, and students are part of a community. There are weekday and weekend activities organised for students, often with their teachers.
The OHC Calgary building offers 7 bright and comfortable classrooms, a communal area and an outdoor patio for students to use. Students have their own kitchen and free Wi-Fi network.
"I’ve been her 4 months and have had an amazing experience. I’ve met and made friends with many people from countries like Japan, Spain, Brazil, Korea, Saudi Arabia, France, Argentina and Venezuela. I have also learned a lot about their cultures. Each week there are many activities to do where you can interact and practice your English skills. Our teachers are from Canada and all of them are so kind.
I have now improved my English very fast and I feel very happy that when I go back to Mexico I can get a very good job."
